BUHARI SPEECH ON DEMOCRACY DAY


President Muhammadu Buhari has approached Nigerians to appeal to God for all casualties of fear based oppressors assaults the nation over, expressing that he lives everyday agonizing over those in the guardianship of ruffians and other criminal components.


In his speech on Sunday morning to stamp the 2022 Democracy Day, Buhari assured Nigerians that endeavors were on top stuff to guarantee that the casualties were liberated securely.


He said, "On this unique day, I want us to put all victims of terrorist activities in the country in our thoughts and prayers. I'm living everyday with the grief and worry for all those victims and prisoners of terrorism and kidnapping     


"I and the security offices are giving our very best with the expectation of complimentary those sad country men  and countrywomen safely."


President Buhari promised that his administration would look for equity for groups of the people who have lost their lives in various assaults in the nation, saying the perpetrators would be made to face the rage of the law.


"For the people who have lost their lives, we will keep on looking for equity for their families against the perpetrators.


"For those presently in bondage, we won't stop until they are free, and those kidnappers are dealt with. 

If  we all as a whole join together, we will be successful against these terror  and obliteration", he added.


On the party primary election that was conducted over all the nationa, President Buhari said that  he was very  much impressed to see across all the  political parties that most candidates ran issue-based campaigns”, stressing that issues that emerged during the processes were all controlled.


He called on  different party contestants to guarantee that they are mature in their campaign mission and different exercises towards the fourth coming  2023 general  election.


He said, "As we move into the overall general election season, we should sustain this full grown of attitude In campaigning and voting..


"We should never see it to be a 'do or die affair. We should all remember that a democracy is about the desire of the greater part. There must be winner and a losser.
