Before his passing, Fr Cheitnum had said he will decide in favor of Peter Obi regardless of whether he joins the 'reptile party'
Father John Mark Cheitnum, who was supporting the official goal of the flagbearer of the Labor Party, Peter Obi, has been found dead after he was snatched by outlaws in Kaduna State.
journalist reports how Fr Cheitnum and Rev. Fr Donatus Cleopa were grabbed at Christ the King's Catholic Church, in Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna on Friday, July 15, 2022.
It was assembled that security agents who were determined to save the clerics tracked down the remaining parts of Father Cheitnum at a ranch in a close-by town on Tuesday, July 19.
In an explanation on Tuesday, the Chancellor of Kafanchan Catholic Diocese, Rev Father Emmanuel Okolo affirmed that Cleopas got away from his abductors while Cheitnum was fiercely killed.

The assertion peruses, "Continuation of the declaration of the two captured clerics from our bishopric, we wish to report that Rev. Fr. Donatus Cleophas got away from his abductors and has rejoined with us.
"Nonetheless, it is with a profound feeling of distress and torments that the Bishop, Clergy, Religious and Laity of the Diocese of Kafanchan declare the grisly homicide of Very Rev. Fr. John Mark Cheitnum,"
"Fr. John Mark who was snatched from the parsonage of Christ the King Parish Yadin Garu, Lere LGA of Kaduna State, was fiercely killed by his abductors around the same time of his kidnapping, Friday fifteenth July, 2022. His carcass was subsequently found previously deteriorating on Tuesday nineteenth July, 2022.
"Until his death, he was the CAN Chairman, Jama'a LGA, as well as the Coordinating Chairman of CAN, Southern Kaduna.
Fr. was the Dean of Kwoi Deanery, Director of Communications in the Diocese of Kafanchan, and the Pastor of St. Hames Parish Fori, Jama'a LGA, Kaduna State.
"Entombment is scheduled for Thursday, 21st July 2022 at the Cathedral of St. Peter Kafanchan, Kaduna State. Time:10am.
"As we request for petitions for the rest of our dear sibling Priest and God's relief on his close family, we wish to unassumingly approach one and all to refrain from bringing the regulations into their hands.
"The Diocese has declared a multi-day grieving for serene rest of his spirit and may his spirit and the spirits of the reliable withdrew find happiness in the hereafter. So be it."
In a Facebook post dated May 25, 2022, Father Cheitnum stated: "If Peter Obi joins reptile party, I go follow go vote am there"
