Osinbajo discharged from  hospital

 

After a successful operation on his right femur, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo left the Duchess International Hospital on Monday (thigh bone).

 

Osinbajo, who underwent surgery on July 16 and was admitted that day, required crutches for an additional eight days to fully recover.

 

Osinbajo was released after receiving "physiotherapy and a seamless rehabilitation," according to a statement from his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Lalou Akande, and "will continue recovering in the following few days."

"VP Osinbajo discharged following successful surgery, the recuperation at Duchess Hospital," reads the statement.

 

The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, was hospitalized at the Duchess International Hospital, Lagos, last Saturday, July 16, 2022, according to a previous statement by the Chief Personal Physician to the Vice President, Dr. Nicholas Audifferen. Due to a fractured right femur. He underwent corrective surgery without any issues.

 

 

"He was hospitalized for seven days, during which time he underwent physical therapy and successfully recovered after surgery. He has been released and is currently recovering.

 

 

Prof. Osinbajo appreciated the professionalism and high standard of care provided by the hospital's clinical and support team, which was overseen by Dr. Tokunbo Shitta-Bey, the chief executive officer, and Dr. Adedoyin Dosunmu-Ogunbi, the medical director.
