I will have no problem if Peter Obi is elected President

Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu stated that he would not have any problem if Labour Party nominee Peter Obi were to become Nigeria's president in 2023.

According to reports from correspondents,  In 2023, power must transfer to the South, Akeredolu, chairman of the Southern Governor's Forum and a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

"For me, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the APC's presidential candidate, is not to blame. If you paid attention to my speech, you would have heard me say that I would be okay if Obi were to win the presidency, on Channels Television on Wednesday night.

"It won't matter if Bola Tinubu wins the election. For me, the south is the only place it can go.

Valentine Obienyem, Obi's media adviser, promised on Wednesday that when the campaign officially begins, it will be based on problems rather than personality.

This is in light of the fact that he mentioned how the previous governor of Anambra State-backed Tinubu's issue-based campaign for the general election in 2023.
